Given the "mono-page" UI design, users navigate constantly to-fro between pages in course of their day's work. Every time come back to given grid, its sort and filter (and current position) are reset.
This is a major annoyance - e.g, I have been researching on invoices that is 9 mths old; go to invoice grid, click-click-click-click-click to set date range, make notes on paper next to me, go to customers, review information, go to Adjustments, go to invoice grid once more - and again click-click-click-click-click ,,,
Depending on the browser back button is a fragile user workflow - users are finance folks, not techies.
