I find it really odd that the sales product/service drop down lists everything we buy as well. if i was a manufacturer this would be insane having all the BOM items listed. On the product/service edit screen there should be a check box or dropdown that says Sell, buy, both, and then the customer invoices and supplier invoices only share relevant items. its not practical for people out on the road to sift through massive lists or keep a printed list of relevant codes. yes we could change the start of the code name, but this would also help reduce data traffic, and even reporting/analysis
