Setting up contracts on the analysis section in settings on Sage, not able to sort into numerical order or alphabetical as with most menu’s in sage.
Would be helpful if the search facility allowed you to start typing the code you wanted and the search facility, shows those analysis codes that start with the text you have typed. Like in Journals this facility is there working. To allow you to enter on sales and purchases entry screens.
Also, when you select the project code when entering the sales invoice it doesn’t seem to show the contract number!?
But on Purchase entry it does (See screen shots)
On Quick Entry, only way round this is to type the Job code on the description line i.e.

This facility is actually already up and running in Journals but not in sales or purchases.
So is already an active search facility already written and in use, although unhelpfully it doesn’t stretch to all the system.

yes - if we have a large quantity of projects for example, these are listed in the order they were added, not alphabetical by project code. it is next to impossible to find the project you are looking for when creating an invoice etc
