Be able to send a customer a formal receipt of their payment without having to raise an invoice Merged

We are a charitable organisation and sometimes receive donations. These are sent to us without us raising an invoice. The donor then requires a formal receipt for their payment in order to complete their accounts/vat/tax returns etc. At present there is no option to do this within Sage
