Profit + Loss report showing this month compared to same month last year, plus year to date this year + same period last year

It would be helpful from a managment perspective to be able to see data from a particular month as well as year to date data and compare them with the same periods for the previous year to see whether the business has improved or declined over the financial year to assist with planning decisions.

    Thanks for submitting your idea! We are working on improvements to the Profit and Loss report, and you should see a blue link to try these out. The link is near the top of the page under the title.

    We are working on improvements - try the BETA version.

    Once you switch to the Beta version, you will see 2 tabs in the top right, Financial Year and Comparison. If you switch to 'Comparison', you'll be able to filter the period you need and compare against the previous period, or the previous year. I'd love your feedback on this, and if this view is exactly what you are looking for from this idea?
