Project Charges

Adding charges to projects is a feature that Sage Professional has. These charges do not affect the COA, only the project. This is ideal for posting labour charges against projects from staff timesheets. A separate process from the payroll.
Say I want to charge a member of staff's time out at £50 per hour, then I add a charge as per the attached. This has no impact on company financials, only the client project. I chose Sage for this reason as the projects function is way further advanced than any other financial software, however the cloud based platform does not offer this. As a business, this tool is vital for charging our clients the correct labour charges.

    The business now requires this type of postings in order to be able to gauge whether a project has been profitable or not.

    Sage Line 50 was able to do this and the tool was imperative for the construction industry.
