When Sage software was hosted on a hard drive, there was a way to connect it to an ecommerce website which you could then set it up to download orders once an hour etc. It then created purchase orders, sales orders for us to email to suppliers.
This was idea for companies that had a large number of orders needing processing as it automated the flow. Especially useful for small to mid size companies with small staff total.
There are 3rd party plug ins and extensions available to do this with Sage Cloud accounts, but it wold be useful if Sage had their own!
