Could you not have facility whereby if you are entering a line item from a product code in a new purchase invoice and you change the price as generated by the product record could Sage not pop up a dialog box asking whether you want to change the product record to this new cost price yes or no? This should be made available if the overwritten cost amount is more or less than the cost price in the product record and if answered yes it automatically updates the product record with the new cost price. We seem to have a lot of price changes and currrently I have to overwrite the cost price whilst entering the new purchase invoice then go to products & services and enter each product individually, then edit the product to alter the cost price even though as I open the product Sage knows what the "new" cost price as it is shown under LAST COST PRICE. Some invoices may have up to ten price changes per invoice which multiplied over a month is considerable amount of time individually altering each products cost price
