We are a garage and use both Stock Parts and Service on the same invoice. The problem is that we need a sales invoice that does not show part numbers but does show quantity.
Currently, the invoice templates to choose from either have part numbers and quantity or no part numbers and no quantity.

Yes , absolutely. I issue consultancy invoices and add specific descriptions so the product number is confusing to customers... Please make it amendable so you can choose to add or not as appropriate.

Yes, I agree. And add QTY to the service invoice which would have the same result .

I had this issue, you can select the part number then delete the code out before saving
