As accountants reviewing the postings for the year by a client when preparing year end accounts, it really is fundamental for us to be able to see the VAT code used for each transaction as we review each nominal code in the nominal activity report. Not having this option really makes it impossible to carry out a proper review. Reviewing the VAT return only shows what has been claimed, not the VAT code used for other transactions on which a VAT claim could have been missed or the wrong type of VAT code may have been used. Other online software offers this option and we are desperate to see Sage update for this too
