The only report that appears to be available is stock movement. We require a report that shows stock levels at a given time.

Sorry, on re-reading the original request the thing you were asking for is what I had added, stock reports as at a specific date. This is really important for most businesses using the stock function in Sage.

If you select "Products & Services" from the Settings dropdown it shows the list of all products including current stock (if you don't see it then click the settings icon on the left of the column headings and configure the view). You can "select all" or just the product lines you want by filtering or manually checking the boxes, and then export that in CSV or other formats if necessary.
That said, I agree that a dedicated stock report would be handy with options such as selecting the date (so you can run stock audits that aren't today), and by location (as set in the Item details).
