Be able to post a refund either on Sales or Purchase Ledger on account until the credit is received Merged

I have tried posting a sales refund on account pending the credit note being raised by our sales department but it will not let me as it wants me to allocate it against something. This was possible on Sage 50 Accounts but is not on here after going on chat and confirming.
