It would be very useful to be able to create a GST report that tracks GST to report to CRA. This would be similar to that created by other accounting software that allows GST to be reported as a prior period adjustment or new specific to the period.
For example, when reporting for a quarter, sometimes invoices for an old prior period are included because the invoice was not received and processed until after the older period was closed. Only new GST and unreported GST from a prior period would be included in the report.
