I have lots of customers who pay late as they assume 30 day terms means they pay after 30 days, when in fact, they have 30 days to pay. It also says in the settings that payments are due 30 days after the invoice which only suggests they aren't due for 30 days, but this only allows the customer 1 day to pay, so I explain its actually 30 days or before. I have written a custom note that explains the terms but I still have late payments coming in. I understand that this isn't be the sole reason I am getting late payments but I do have disputes with customers who try and tell me they haven't got to pay until after 30 days and would just make more sense for our business to be calendar monthly terms.
