Our company relies 100% on the job costing menu. Our job numbers are set up as ####-NSE-05 Construction or ####-NSE-07 Modification. Meaning any job number ending with 05 is construction, any job number ending with 07 is modification, any job number ending with 30 is maint etc. Due to the rising costs of shipping, we need to get a better understanding of the costs. We could download the GL into excel and use the sorting feature to sort by job numbers. I have attached a file to show how it would look. We can then download into excel and use the sorting feature.
