Invoice override of credit terms

I generally set credit terms of 30 days for my clients but some high value transactions require immediate payment. Using the mobile app when creating an invoice it seems that the clients general terms override whatever data is entered when creating the invoice and I can’t change it. I also can’t go to clients settings and change to custom terms and select immediately for payment.
