Change customer or supplier reference, even where there is activity. Merged

Our account references have 'evolved' over time and hence got rather messy. e.g. some numeric, some alphanumeric, missing leading zeros, letter 'O' used instead of zero. It would be very helpful if the references could be edited and homogenized.
