Previous year ends were 31st December. We're having one year of 13 months due to new Directors sorting themselves out so need this year of 13 months to end on 31st January and then 12 monthly from thereon. Your chat line has confirmed that it can only cope with 12 monthly periods. Your desktop version appears to facilitate this as I found this link below. This needs to happen, especially for sole traders, partnerships with the change of basis period rules that have now come into force.
