Opening Balance removed on Profit and Loss accounts

The program needs to remove the opening balance for a prior year and the running balance - the PNL accounts should only show the current financial year amounts and running balance as in Sage 50 ..... Need to run a year end routine to clear down the ledger

    surely this can not have the status of "ONE FOR FUTURE" !!! It was shared in 2020. How much in the future do Sage want to take it??? Does anyone know how we raise the priority?

    This ought to be corrected - these opening balances make for too much extra effort.

    This is a basic accounting concept. How can Sage call this product an accounting system when this idea is not adopted???
