Accounting Ideas

Financial statements for not-for-profit organisations such as sporting clubs.

A simple option to replace words such as "profit" and "loss" with "surplus" and "defecit" in financial reporting for not-for-profit organisations (sporting clubs etc).

A simple means of excluding headings such as "Direct Costs" or "Gross Profit" from reporting for organisations that do not require them.

Consideration of other simple changes to labeling/invoicing where customers are not actually 'customers' but 'club members'.

There are many organisations out there who need this option - Amateur Theatre groups, Residents Associations etc.
SAGE sales literature makes no attempt to attract these types and concentrates on "normal" small businesses. A missed marketing opportunity ?

There are so many organizations and societies that need accounting software from a non profit viewpoint that don't need business labels and jargon. Issuing Tax slips is also a unique experience when you are reporting for a larger non business organization.
