In Xero when setting up a re-occuring invoice you can add a place holder that might say for eg (Current month) or (current year). So when you type a narrative in the invoice you can type "subscription to commence November (current year)". That way each year I don't have to go in and over type 2020 to 2021. This was a good feature in Xero
