Archiving older clients Merged

I have over 10 pages of customers even though only 20 of them are current and active. Due to CQC regulation i have to keep the records for 6 years. At the moment there is no way of marking them as inactive or archiving them.

Good to hear this is in the pipeline at last.
I'm involved in the management of 53 properties and with regular house sales and new owners arriving this will help to tidy up my records.

It would be very beneficial to have an "Active" and "Inactive" list for customers. That way if they come back in the door it would be easy to move them back to Active.

I had an accountant suggest that putting an "X"- at the start of the customer name would move it to the bottom of the list so that they at least aren't near the top of the alphabet listing. I've found it works too with customers for whom someone previously created two profiles for one customer. For them I also add "not this one" at the end of the customer name. Not sure that helps but it has worked for me
