Tax year

Can I change from a calendar year to a financial year (5th April) it would give me a true summary for my Tax.

If not why do they use such a system for an accounting software. Seems a bit strange to me.

    Hello thank you for your idea. If you go to settings - Financial Setting - enter your year end date (April 5th), hit save. Then when you go to reports, and select "This Financial Year" or "Last Financial Year", it will automatically bring up your financial year (April 5th). Hope this helps.
