I have recenetly missed a vat return date, but if there was a reminder on the summary page where the VAT summary is this help alert you for these dates.

A tool to use to help check the transactions assigned to each VAT code (or not on the return) before submitting the data to HMRC.

When setting up a customer should be able to customize the tax rate (to be able to apply no tax) to an account. When creating an invoice it would automaticaly say the correct tax rate.

As the VAT period progresses it would be nice to look at a file that could show you the exact amount of VAT that you are liable for at that moment in time so you could prepare for the payment

Ability to create a report with all the european sales and purchases of goods and services to fill the required 349 form for the spanish Hacienda Tributaria. It is a big pain right now!
