As it sounds really. Automatic "this invoice is due in 1 week's time", "this invoice is due today" etc.

Xero allows this - so easier to input from the invoice. Possibly no need for Auto Entry with this option! Have a Files Inbox you can send documents to (email/upload/App), and post to Sage from there - like Xero!

Why is this not a standard in the P&L? Having to move to Intelligence reports just to get it - then it runs on Landscape not Portrait, so have to export to Excel and change set up. Time wasting. Not a great layout either - doesn't look tidy or...

Where there are multiple lines of bank payments/receipts, can they be imported to Sage so that they are simply matched at bank rec?

After you reconcile, the bank feed disappears. In Xero there is a separate page for the bank statement/bank feed. So you always have a record of the bank statements even after it's been matched.
