When you are doing a quick entry for sales invoice on the sage iCloud there isn't an option like to calculate the VAT for you (as on other versions of sage). This would be really helpful when inputting sales invoices that are already inclusive of VAT.

Absolutely. We have just transferred from Sage Line 50 and are really disappointed that Sage Cloud Accounting is not as user friendly as Sage Line 50 is.
The calculate VAT from a gross amount button should be an obvious feature for any business accounts package.
Slightly concerned that the first comment regarding this was Sep 2021 and some 18 months later, this has not been implemented already

I think Sage recently added a feature similar but it was backwards for me as you had to enter the Net value and it would calculate the VAT based on that. I had sage 50 accounts before and it calculated the VAT from the Gross, which in my opinion, was a much better way to do it. From a bank statement or if im creating an invoice, i always know the Gross value and not the Net.
